FORMAT QUESTIONS

How to read the catalog.

Understand what the listed routes mean and why the app may show a different set of choices.

Can every format convert to every other format?

No. Convert2Any plans a route for each pairing that makes sense, sometimes through an intermediate format, and lists only those. Select a source format above to see its destinations.

Why can’t I find the output I need?

The route may not be defined for that source, or it may need an optional converter pack or supported operating system. The app checks what is available on your computer before conversion.

Are aliases like JPG and JPEG different routes?

They are commonly used extensions for the same format family. The catalog shows accepted aliases with the source format and lists its available destinations.

Can Convert2Any convert EPUB, AZW3, or MOBI books?

EPUB books can become PDFs, Word and other document formats, page images, or speech, and the app can create EPUBs from supported documents. Copy-protected EPUBs aren’t supported, and neither are AZW3 or MOBI files.

Can it open Pages, Numbers, Keynote, or Visio files?

Yes. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files convert like their Word, Excel, and PowerPoint counterparts. Visio, Publisher, and CorelDRAW drawings can be saved as PDFs or page images. These routes use the Office converter pack.

Can it make subtitles from a video?

Yes. Audio and video can become SRT or WebVTT subtitles, or a TXT, Word, or PDF transcript. Speech is recognized on your Mac in 99 languages with the optional speech pack.

Do I need every converter pack?

No. Packs are optional. Install one only when you need a route that depends on it; the app explains and asks first.

Are these routes available on every computer?

The catalog lists the routes on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26.4 or later, the system the app supports. Some need an optional converter pack; the app checks what is installed and asks before downloading anything.
